Visa

After submitting your application and paying the required charges (application fee and charge for the Statement for Issuing Visa), you must go to the Portuguese Embassy or the Portuguese Consulate closest to your area of residence.

On the webpage of the Immigration and Borders Service (SEF) you will find all the information about Residence Visa for study and the documents you need to present.

After your arrival in Portugal, your visa, which will be valid for 120 days, will have to be replaced by a Residence Permit. To this effect, you need to go to SEF until one month before the Visa’s expiry date and submit a Certificate of Enrolment at Lusófona University.

When you are in possession of the Residence Permit, , the student may study and work during the period of residence in the country, provided due permission is asked of SEF.
